How cool are these abstract paper sculptures? They look like modern works of art, but they can be handcrafted with love from your children.

The paper is just from paper scraps from other projects, glued with Elmer’s Art Paste onto cardboard from old boxes.

Here’s how they did it:

  1. Cut paper into strips of various sizes
  2. Roll the paper up
  3. Brush a little paste to the paper to keep the roll from unfolding
  4. Apply paste to the edge of the paper roll and press onto the cardboard for a few seconds
  5. Repeat!

We found this idea from a primary school teacher’s blog. This colourful little project is a must-do for craft time!
